When I Was Young

When I was young, my mind was very persuassive. I believed everything that I was told. I was like a sponge and would absorb everything. All the things that I thought was true when I was younger, I know don't believe in anymore.
One thing I used to believe in was Santa Claus. When it was Christmas my parents told me that Santa gave me presents during the night. I used to wonder why I have never seen him. Then my parents told me he's not real, but a symbol for Christmas.
Another thing I used to think was that babies came from the sky. All my friends said that and I believed them. I told my parents about it and they didn't respond. When I got older, I found out the truth.
Finally, I used to believe that teachers lived in school. I didn't think that they had real lives or families. I was proven wrong when I saw my kindergarten teacher at Wal-Mart. I was so surprised.
During my life, I have thought many things. Most, I would find dumb now. I have grown smarter and wiser. I now know I shouldn't believe everything I am told. That is what I have learned from my childhood.

The Relationship between Freedom and Responsibility

There is a relationship between freedom and responsibility. People like to differentiate the two. Also they seem to be the exact same opposite of each other. The hard part about it is knowing what both means. The concept can be very difficult to understand and to apply in real life.
To start with, freedom means to be on your own. Sometimes, it is good to be free and under no one's control. Sometimes it can be bad and backfire. People crave for freedom and strive to gain it. Freedom can also have bad effect though too.
Responsibility is basically the opposite of freedom. Responsibility is something you have to take care of. Responsibility is having the obligation of attending to something or someone. The older you get, the more responsibilities you have. You can not have freedom from what you have to attend to. Freedom and responsibility are very different.
Even though freedoms and responsibilities are different, there is a connection. Freedoms and responsibilities both come when you get older. Each needs a certain amount of maturity to handle freedoms and responsibilities. That is the connection between the two.
There is a real relationship between freedoms and responsibilities.l They both come with time. Freedoms can be good and bad. Responsibilities are not so fun but you can learn from it. They are both good for people though.

My Mission, My Vision, My Legacy

There are many people who had lived in this world. Mankind have advanced far into life than the past centuries. Scientists and inventors have left their mark on this world. They did it through inventions and theories which are now considered useful and accurate. I intend to leave my own mark on this world.
I have a vision in what I want to do in my life. I want to be a very productive citizen of the Earth. I want to change the world for the better. If life turns the wrong way, I will not quit. That is my vision for myself.
My mission in life is to be able to provide for my family. I want to be able to earn a full scholarship to college. I want to learn more so I can receive a good paying job. I want to support my parents and to repay for what they did to help me. That is my mission for myself.
I believe that the legacy a person leaves behind, is very important. I want people to remember me as a nice person. I am not a negative person at all. The negative things I did do, I do not want to be remembered for. Bad events I did should not overshadow all the good things that I have done. That is the legacy I want to leave.
My hope is that I do turn out to be a successful person. I want to be able to make my own money. I would also like to own my home. With these goals, I need to work hard to reach them. I hope to achieve all my goals in my lifetime.
